about

"Caelum non animum mutant qui trans mare currunt. (They change their sky, not their soul, who rush across the sea.)" -Horace. One of Slow Meadow's most overtly orchestral pieces, with its muted tympani and dynamic string movements, "Those Who Rush Across the Sea" features a soothing melody that feels universal, almost hymn-like. The strings and textures of "You Felt Like Home" convey a sensation of deep breathing - as if we're overhearing a heart-wrenching conversation, filled with passages of reflective silence.
